What does RouteShot actually do?+
You point it at a project’s staging URL. It discovers the sitemap, captures every page at your standard desktop and mobile widths, full-page and above-the-fold, and hands back an organized set with an audit trail of what ran.
Is it just for pharma?+
No. The pharma and MLR capability is the wedge, but any team routing a whole site for review, compliance, or sign-off is a fit. Turn ISI handling off and it is a fast, standardized full-site capture tool for any web or QA team.
How does it handle ISI?+
The sticky, minified ISI tray is hidden in the full-page shot, the in-flow full ISI at page bottom is always included, and the expanded ISI state is captured as its own artifact. ISI handling is per-project and can be turned off entirely.
What widths does it capture?+
Your org’s default widths (desktop 1140×900 and mobile 375×812 out of the box), plus device presets and fully custom width × height per project. Each viewport can capture portrait, landscape, or both.
How does it get into staging sites?+
HTTP basic auth, the dominant agency staging pattern. Credentials are saved per project, encrypted and write-only, and reused so nobody handles staging passwords per job. Cookie and SSO-style logins are on the roadmap.
What if there is no sitemap?+
Paste a manual URL list. Discovery also follows sitemap index files, and per-project scope filters (child-sitemap selection, path include/exclude, locale exclusion) keep noisy sitemaps down to the pages worth reviewing.
What happens when a page fails?+
Failed pages are flagged and retried on their own. One flaky page never forces a full re-run.
What do I get out of it?+
An organized ZIP by viewport and capture type, ready to drop into your routing tool with no renaming. A compiled review PDF with cover page and one labeled capture per page is the next release.
Does it submit forms?+
Never. RouteShot captures the normal state, dropdowns open, and the submit-empty validation error state using client-side validation only. It does not submit forms or transmit form data. Thank-you pages are captured only when you supply their URL.
How is my data handled?+
Data is isolated per organization, staging credentials are encrypted and write-only, and every job is logged. We run a HIPAA-aligned control baseline. See the trust and security page for the full picture.
Are you HIPAA compliant?+
We adopt a HIPAA-aligned control baseline because regulated buyers expect it, but we do not claim to be "HIPAA compliant." RouteShot captures public and staging marketing pages, not patient data.
